Chairman's Message
Dear Friends,
I take this opportunity to offer my warm greetings to you and welcome all of you to the website of St. Xavier's
High School, Khordha (XCFS) Group.
The term 'Education' encompasses more than just knowledge and knowing. It is a harmonious blending of
academics, arts, emotions, attitudes, creativity and life itself. In the global perspective today, the one who
excels in all these areas is the one who succeeds.
St. Xavier's High School, Khordha, with this philosophy in mind began its voyage on the vast ocean of
academics with only 10 students in the year 2009 and with the untiring attempts of the staff, constant
support of parents and zealous performance of the students, the small beginning reached the pinnacle of
success. Now the school is shifted from a rented building to its own campus with more than 300 students. In
this institution education blended in all colours of human values could be given and now I feel immensely
pleased and proud to say that the dream of a quality institution has taken its shape. Now the school stands
on a sprawling campus of more than five acres with all basic infrastructures. Today, St. Xavier's High School,
Khordha is one of the fastest growing schools of the town because of the high standard it has set for itself in
providing excellent education. Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere
efforts, intelligent direction and skillful execution which are the hallmarks of this institution.
Our school endeavours to provide an environment that fosters curiosity, encourages learning and the pursuit
of excellence. Through our sustained efforts over the last 15 years our institution strived for holistic
development of our students with values, innovation and knowledge. Our sustained commitment to add
value to our pupil's life, I believe, is the true meaning of education. I recognise the importance of creating a
conducive environment for our pupils to lay a strong foundation based on principles and inculcate the right
values to transform them into productive members of the society. We follow CBSE course curriculum. Our
curriculum focuses on social, emotional, physical and cultural aspects. Our methodology is designed to foster
critical thinking and problem solving, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
I give all my blessings to St. Xavier's High School, Khordha, to the staff, students, parents, stake holders and all those who are associated with the institution. I pray God that His divine blessings continue to lead and guide
this institution for generations.
